Five tracks. Nine minutes and fifty four seconds. bleood does not waste your night.

haunted hills dropped September 11, 2026 at midnight on Last Chapel. Five songs, beats from BenjiCold, yrsci, Deshun and chxncex, and bleood engineered all of it himself. The cover art went up on his X three hours before. That was the only surprise part. The songs have been leaking out in snippets since April, one at a time. It’s a slower rollout, a quieter one, and it works: everybody who was already waiting was sitting there at midnight.

People have it filed as the lead up to Kill Your Idols, and the EP backs them up. Track one ends with the phrase chanted twice. That’s not fans reading into it. That’s bleood telling you what’s next.

The cover sets the mood before you hit play: a marionette with pink yarn hair and a pentagram skull crown, strung up in an X, boxed in by candles, roses and zodiac symbols, eyes floating in the dark around it. Handwriting at the bottom reads “your laugh made me feel whole, and I took advantage of that…” Part shrine, part crime scene.

haunted hills tracklist and producers

bleood is credited here with vocals, writing, composition, recording, mixing and mastering. He made the record and he finished the record, then put it out through Last Chapel with FUGA on distribution. Three producers across five songs and it still sounds like one room. That’s the engineering credit earning its keep:

cryn innis coupe (2:33) prod. BenjiCold / fuk 12 (2:11) prod. yrsci / yung vocaloid (2:00) prod. yrsci / shellshocked (1:49) prod. Deshun / she wanna (1:21) prod. chxncex

yrsci has two of the five, back to back in the middle, and that’s the stretch where the EP settles in. Graphic design by lockedout.in and whitecollarwill. Video direction from noahsocold.

The trail goes back five months. fuk 12 got teased on X April 11. The shellshocked snippet hit his story May 23, and the beat file was named “1168 shellshocked,” so the song kept the name it came in with. A 39 second clip of yung vocaloid went up on X July 19. she wanna got previewed August 1, a little over a month out. By release day anyone who follows him already had most of it stuck in their head. That’s the play: drop pieces all summer, then drop the whole thing with no warning and let people recognize it.

Track by track

The opener sets up what the rest of the EP keeps doing. bleood spends the verses on Lambos, lean and AR bars, then the chorus is a guy saying he doesn’t want to feel anything and thinks he’s losing it. The flexing and the numbness aren’t in different songs. They’re thirty seconds apart, and that push and pull is the actual point. He didn’t call it crying in the coupe for nothing.

fuk 12 is the one with none of that running under it. Straight adrenaline: anti-police title, Dior and Balenciaga name drops, a NEET line sitting right next to street bars like they belong to the same guy. They do. That’s the whole identity. Even here he closes on the idea that you can’t save him, so the thread is still there under the loudest song on the tape.

yung vocaloid is the centerpiece and the one with the most going on. Miku blue hair, a Fortnite shield bar, Mewtwo, Hedi Slimane and Takuya Angel, all in the same breath as the dropout to rich story and a line about his mom telling him he was the shit. Somewhere in there he calls himself the new sound and says nobody else is doing this. On a song this deep in anime and gaming, that’s less of a brag and more just a description of what’s happening: a kid raised online mixing fandom with Florida rage rap and treating it like that’s normal, because to him it is.

shellshocked is the dreamiest one and the most open. Deshun’s beat goes cloud rap soft, the coupe line comes back with the crying moved to a pool, and the flexes turn into Lunchables, Hi-C and Master Splinter. Childhood used as a flex is a weird move and it lands. Shortest, most melodic, least guarded.

she wanna ends on energy instead of feeling: a Wraith, a hook about a girl going to space, a FaZe Sway reference keeping the gamer thread alive to the last song. It closes the EP lighter than it opened, which is either a mercy or a dodge depending on your mood.

”That first song is insane.”

How the internet took it

Track one took the night, and it’s the one nobody had heard early. One listener said the tempo switch made him put his phone down and start walking around the room. A first listen scorecard going around the timeline gave the EP a 7.5 with cryn innis coupe at a 9. A bunch of people landed on the opener as his best song in a long time on their own, and the note everybody kept repeating was that his vocals sound sharper here than they have in a while.

Not everybody agreed, and that’s the better outcome. Over on AOTY the comments run cold in spots. One says mid, one says he can’t hear the hype anymore, one says yung vocaloid is easily the best song on here. Somebody called out she wanna for snippet syndrome, which is the cost of the drip: by release day some people are already sick of the song. Nobody agrees on the tracklist, they’re arguing about it, and arguments keep a project alive longer than agreement does. RYM has it at 3.41 from 49 ratings on day one, filed under Rage.

PROTAGONIST put a marker down. how bleood stole Xmas showed he’ll swing at a concept. rascal 51 kept the catalog moving. haunted hills is the tightest of the run and the most thought out on sequencing: longest song first, shortest song last, gone before it has a chance to sit still.

If this is the warm up for Kill Your Idols, the main event has a problem. The warm up is good.
